The incumbent performs technical and assistance work supporting the day-to-day administration of three Patient Benefits programs: Insurance Capture Buffer (ICB), Enrollment & Eligibility, and the Veterans Transportation Program (VTP).
Major duties include but are not limited to: Maintains a system of records for assignment and installation of ICB scanners and maintains an access database that organizes information from the system of records for each area of responsibility. Uses this database to compile information and generate reports for internal program review and those required by outside regulatory bodies, reporting monthly to the VASNHCS Resource Council and Integrity & Compliance Committee.
Identifies end-user training needs and delivers established educational programs and instructional materials to users and support staff at all levels of the organization, following curricula and content approved by the supervisor. Monitors end user satisfaction and reports findings to the supervisor. Monitors new clinic creation and ensures all staff are notified promptly. Performs annual inventories of ICB equipment and responds to equipment-related issues upon notification.
Monitors ICB compliance daily and provides facility, department, section, or individual-level data upon request.
