This position is located in the Middle District of Georgia, Macon, Georgia. The selectee of this position serves as a Program Support Specialist. You will be responsible for providing advice and assistance to management on human resources, financial, budget management, procurement, property management, records management, conducting management and program analysis studies, etc.
As a Program Support Specialist at the GS-0301- 11 level, some of your typical work assignments may include: Working closely with the Administrative Officer (AO) on implementing processes for providing administrative services for the district's main and/or sub-office(s). Analyzing the district's financial obligations and expenditures to ensure compliance with USMS policies and procedures. Ensuring quality control over correspondence activities through reviews of outgoing correspondence, pickup and delivery schedules, and the timely delivery of official correspondence to action agencies. Serving as a liaison to the Human Resources Division (HRD) on the preparation and submission of personnel action requests and obtaining personnel services for the district. Serving as the district's timekeeper through the use of a web-based time and attendance application.
