This position is part of the Air Force Elements, U.S. Transportation Command.
As a PROTOCOL SPECIALIST at the GS-0301-9/11 some of your typical work assignments may include: Serve as a Protocol Specialist, responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing visits by distinguished persons. Review, amend, and staff all project documentation, including invitations and scripts, to ensure coordination and approval at appropriate levels.
Formulate, develop and implement protocol policy and procedural guidance concerning proper protocol requirements for precedence, honors, ceremonies, flags, dinners and socials, visiting dignitaries, mementos, conferences, official meetings and briefings. Lead or participate in special initiatives, studies and special projects and initiatives and performs non routine assignments.
Analyze, plan, oversee, review, consolidate, and provide written reports and briefings outlining findings of special initiatives, studies, and projects. Custodian for Official Representation Funds (ORF) and Special Morale and Welfare (SM&W) Funds for events/activities for host and associate AF units.

If you cannot obtain your graduate school's definition of one year of graduate study, 18 semester hours (or 27 quarter hours) should be considered as satisfying the requirement for one year of full-time graduate study.
FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show that the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
