This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program. You must meet specific individual eligibility requirements in accordance with VHA policy and submit your EDRP application within four months of appointment.
Program Approval, award amount (up to $200,000) and eligibility period (one to five years) are determined by the VHA Education Loan Repayment Services program office after complete review of the EDRP application.

Plans, analyzes and monitors data from VSSC, ProClarity and other VA databases to ensure unit is succeeding on all performance measures. Researches, interprets, analyzes and applies MHCL, VASDHS, VA Desert Pacific Healthcare Network, JCAHO, CARF and related professional, federal and VA policies, procedures, and guidelines.
Assigns work to subordinate employees based on the IMPACT Unit priorities and consideration of difficulty and requirements of assignments such that the experience, training, and abilities of staff are effectively utilized to meet organization and customer needs. Provides advice to the relevant Section Chiefs regarding significant issues and problems related to work accomplishment.
Establishes metrics and analysis systems to ensure actions are timely and reviewed at critical points. Performs self-inspection and presents detailed and comprehensive report with any corrective action taken to supervisor. Provides a documented, comprehensive assessment of the bio-psychosocial needs of the patient/caregiver situation, develops a documented treatment plan, and provides evidence-based therapy.
Assesses patient's eligibility for VA and other governmental benefits. Provides information on the bio-psychosocial aspects of the patient and his/her situation at the request of the treatment team. Counsels and supports patient's caregivers/significant others in order to establish and maintain a supportive environment conducive to the recovery of the patient. Work Schedule: 0700 - 1600 (tour is flexible between timeframe), Monday - Friday.
