Job Summary
The position is located in the Bureau of Global Public Affairs, Office of Strategy, Office of Analytics, Media Monitoring (GPA/ST/AN). The incumbent serves as a Public Affairs Specialist, providing expert communications planning, technical advice and monitors, reports and analyzes collected media content as it relates to U.S. national security objectives and Public Diplomacy (PD), along with assessments for improving GPA and departmental communications and outreach efforts.
Key Responsibilities
Advises senior GPA, Department officials and other stakeholders on messaging strategies to engage and inform target audiences, identify successes and failures and improve future foreign policy messaging efforts.
