This position is located with Bonneville Power Administration (BPA), in Program Marketing (PEM) organization within Energy Conservation (PE), Power Services organization (P). A successful candidate in this position will manage BPA's long-term resource acquisitions, be the principal representative for BPA working on strategies and transactions with assigned customers, and maintain working relationships with management, internal counterparts and external entities.
Key Responsibilities
As a Public Utilities Specialist (Customer Account Executive), you will: Lead customer account strategies to understand client needs, build lasting utility partnerships, and maximize satisfaction. Serve as signatory for energy conservation agreements valued up to $25M, negotiating standard and customized terms. Direct day-to-day task execution for cross-functional support staff to ensure aligned customer service delivery and seamless operations.
Provide proactive customer outreach, responsive support, and advocacy on behalf of the customer to the Energy Conservation department, Power Services organization and to BPA. Collaborate internally to design, market, and implement cost-effective demand-side power and energy conservation programs. Act as the primary contact to troubleshoot client problems, clarify policies, and guide partners through reporting requirements.
Represent agency policy positions at various external meetings and customer events while gathering stakeholder feedback to guide future initiatives.
