You will serve as a QUALITY ASSURANCE SPECIALIST (SHIPBUILDING) in the ENGINEERING & ANALYSIS DIVISION (CODE 136), QUALITY ASSURANCE OFFICE of PORTSMOUTH NAVAL SHIPYARD.
Key Responsibilities
You will perform quality assurance surveillance, audits, reviews, and investigations involving assigned shipyard production activities.
Requirements & Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience: Undergraduate and Graduate Education: Major study -- quality assurance, statistics, mathematics, production management, industrial management, computer science, engineering, engineering technology, physical sciences, textiles, or other fields related to the position.
GS-09 master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B. or J.D., if related GS-07 1 full year of graduate level education or superior academic achievement A transcript must be submitted with your application if qualifying using education.
