The selectee of this position serves as a Quality Assurance Specialist responsible for developing, implementing, maintaining, and monitoring the Aircraft Quality Assurance Program for Justice Prisoner Air Transportation System (JPATS). This position is located in the Justice Prisoner Air Transportation System (JPATS), Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Key Responsibilities
As a Quality Assurance Specialist at the GS-1910-13 grade level, some of your typical work assignments may include, but are not limited to, the following: Conduct periodic audits of aircraft, engine, and appliance log books, tags and maintenance and inspection task cards for accuracyand completeness. Conduct reviews, activity inspections and management compliance of all maintenance activities to include the logistics maintenance support functional areas.
Evaluate the results of data collection in order to determine the appropriate and effective method and format for presentation. Prepare written correspondence regarding matters applicable to the aircraft quality assurance and maintenance and inspection programs. Identify deficiencies, corrective measures in order to improve processes to enhance mission
