Job Summary
You will serve as a QUALITY ASSURANCE SPECIALIST in the INSPECTION, TEST, QUALITY ASSURANCE & TRAINING DIVISION, LIFTING AND HANDLING DEPARTMENT of PORTSMOUTH NAVAL SHIPYARD. ***TEMPORARY POSTION NOT TO EXCEED 1 YEAR AND MAY BECOME PERMANENT WITHOUT FURTHER COMPETITION. ***
Key Responsibilities
You will conduct shop investigations, special quality assurance investigations, failure analysis investigations, audits and studies to identify problems underlying causes.
Requirements & Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience: FOR THE GS-09Successful completion of a master's or equivalent graduate degree OR Successful completion of two full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a master's degree OR Possession of an LL.B. or J.D. that is related to this position being filled.
