The primary purpose of this position is: To be responsible for directing and executing activities for Range Operations requiring Opposing Forces (OPFOR) and other mission specific training for 27 SOG flying crews and joint personnel. Specifically applies military expertise and experience in special operations training and associated full mission profile role play exercises to include RAVEN CLAW, EMERALD WARRIOR, bilateral, multilateral and JRX profiles. Ensures that AFSOC, Air Force, United States Special Operations Command and DOD wide-mission objectives are maintained to combat ready mission status. Duties: Tailors and Implements OPFOR plans and operations. Assesses efficiency and effectiveness of OPFOR range operations and plans. Execute OPFOR Range Support Program Planning, Operations, and Related Training Requirements. Oversees the establishment and execution of ground training requirements. Serves as focal point for coordination of all logistical support and qualification requirements. Plans and Reviews OPFOR Training Programs. Develops lesson plans and implements training.
