The following are the duties of this position at the full working level. If this vacancy includes more than one grade and you are selected at a lower grade level, you will have the opportunity to learn to perform these duties and receive training to help you grow in this position. Provides Program Management for the Separating Employee Clearance (SEC) program by processing forms, tracking measures by producing reports, and conducting training. Prepares recommendations for program improvement. Reviews, processes and clears SEC records in HR Connect and Legal Category SEC to ensure timely separation of departing employees and clear identification and control of IRS assets (records). Assists managers with the employee separating process as it relates to records reviews and records related clearance requirements. Ensures business unit managers correctly complete and submit records related to separating employee clearance checklist and updates HR Connect accurately. Conducts analysis to determine error rates and makes recommendations on process improvements. Works independently with stakeholders to develop and implement records retention compliance standards for the Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs) to ensure compliance with records management regulations. A college or university degree generally must be from an accredited (or pre-accredited) college or university recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
