About the position: This position will be a RECREATIO AID assigned to ARTS & CRAFTS FACILITY at Minot AFB, ND. This is a FLEXIBLE (FLEX) position. A Flex (Intermittent) schedule does not have guaranteed hours, and you may work 0-40 hours per week as needed by the facility. Employees are eligible to use the fitness center, golf course, bowling center, clubs, and swimming pool.
Performs and/or assists other recreation specialists in the operation of the skills development center. Types of duties include but are not limited to the following: sells resale store merchandise, takes reservations and payment for classes, ensuring all proper money handling procedures are followed. Assists in marking stock for sale, stocking merchandise to the shelves, taking orders for special orders of any items.
Assist in setting up displays and decorations for special events. Becomes familiar with and/or knows where to find information concerning programs within the Services squadron. Assists in inventories and the security of materials and equipment within the center. Assists with group activities that require more than one staff monitor. Performs other related duties as assigned.
