About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Davis Monthan Community Center. This position is a Flexible position 0 to 40 hours per week without Benefits.
Assists other recreation assistants or specialists in the operations of ticket sales. Greets customers as they enter the office and provides them with information about tickets and/or programs offered within the Force Support Squadron. Operates cash register/POS system, rings up the sale, receives money and makes change and processes credit cards sale. At the end of each tour of duty clears the cash register, and turns over cash and supporting documents as instructed.
Prepares daily cashier reports. Assists in performing inventories on a daily and monthly basis. Assists in maintaining stock of informational flyers attraction brochures, discount coupons, hotel directories and event schedules. Keeps supervisor informed of any problems or conflicts. Able to work alone in manager's absence. Takes reservations and payments for trips and tours. notifies participants of schedule changes. Maintains area in clean and orderly condition.
