Job Summary

About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Outdoor Recreation Center, Air Force Academy, Colorado. This position does not include benefits. This is a developmental position having known promotion potential to the NF-0189-II.

Key Responsibilities

Issues recreational and other equipment to customers. Provides instructions on safety and use of equipment. Checks returned equipment, charges for loss/damage as appropriate. Assists with inventory of ski lift tickets, resale items and equipment. Assists in receiving/issuing program supplies and equipment using Rec Trac computer program. Assists in minor maintenance, repair and cleaning of all recreational and other equipment assigned.

Assist with setting up events and with customer reservation preparation. Occasionally may require driving the ORC vehicles (Up to 1⁄2 ton vehicle). Assists customers in fitting and adjusting skis and boots. Performs other related duties as assigned. This is a developmental position having known promotion potential to the NF-0189-II, Recreation Assistant (Outdoor Recreation) position.
