Job Summary

About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Hobby Complex at Wright-Patt AFB. Performs and assists in the operational maintenance of the Consolidated Hobby Complex Recreational Facility. Assists customers in all areas of the center and provides information on recreational activities and scheduled events.

Key Responsibilities

This position is assigned to the Engraving department at the Hobby Complex. Performs and assists in the operational maintenance of the Consolidated Hobby Complex Recreational Facility. Assists customers in all areas of the center and provides information on recreational activities and scheduled events. Required to operate a cash register. Assists customers with the ordering selections of plaques, name tags and gift items for engraving, UV printing and/or sublimation.

Constructs engraved/sublimation items using both powered and non-powered tools and equipment. Cuts plates to the specifications of customer orders. Assembles parts to complete a finished product. Inspects all work for accuracy and workmanship. Performs routine maintenance on equipment to ensure these units are in proper working order. Responsible for the inventory, organization and cleanliness of the engraving shop areas.

Provides input pertaining to order requirements and stock levels for both resale and supply items. Ensures safety rules are instructed and adhered to by customers, personnel and volunteers.
