Plans and administers the base sports program to include intramural, extramural, varsity sports fitness and recreation programs. Exercises limited supervisory personnel management responsibilities over appropriated subordinate employees as an assistant to the supervisory Sports Specialist. Determines adequacy of sports facilities and fitness equipment. Arranges for supplies and services needed to accomplish scheduled sports, fitness and recreation activities.
Prepares publicity items, evaluates effectiveness of programs and varies programs in light of findings. Develops sports and fitness training program for newly assigned.
