The VA Northeast Ohio Healthcare System is recruiting a full-time Registered Nurse to serve as Assistant Nurse Manager within Mental Health Nursing under Psychiatry. The role supports operations, staff coordination, and patient care across programs, including MHACC, VARC, and Somatic Therapy services.

The Assistant Nurse Manager duties include, but are not limited to: The Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) contributes to the development of care delivery models and environmental design, ensuring evidence-based, accessible, affordable, and equitable patient care.
Functions as a clinical expert and is responsible and accountable for all elements of the nursing process when providing or supervising direct patient care. The ANM supports the Nurse Manager (NM) with supervisory duties and responsibility and accountability for the operation of their designated units.
The ANM has responsibility and accountability for the direction and supervision of specific orientation, training, development of staff, and provides input into the evaluation of individual staff performance. The ANM maintains knowledge and ensures compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards, Directives, policies, and standard operating procedures (SOP).
