The LTC Charles S. Kettles VA Medical Center is seeking a Full-Time Registered Nurse (RN) - Educator, aligned under Patient Care
VA offers a comprehensive total rewards package: VA Nurse Total Rewards Duties: The RN Education Specialist is responsible for a variety of administrative, technical, counseling, and instructional areas involved primarily with planning, implementing, conducting, evaluating, and coordinating educational support programs. The Educator will work collaboratively with Schools of Nursing and allied professional Healthcare programs regarding staff education and development. The incumbent will actively maintain the standards required by the Michigan Board of Nursing (MBN) and according to the ANA Scope and Standards of Practice for Nursing Professional Development.
The RN Education Specialist, is accountable for directing, coordinating, and participating in the delivery of staff development and educational programs for nursing and healthcare system personnel. Assigned as the clinical faculty educator to the PB-RNR residents. Demonstrates strong interpersonal and collaborative skills working with staff at all knowledge and proficiency levels.
Directly responsible to the Associate Chief Nurse of Education and collaborates with other supervisory personnel.
