You will serve as a RIGGER SUPERVISOR II in the AUSTRAILIA MAINTENANCE SUPPORT-700AU of PEARL HARBOR NSY AND IMF. The location for this position is Garden Island, Australia.***See Additional Information section below for details***
You will supervise lifting and handling personnel from Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility on fly-away teams, including engineers, trainers, inspectors, supervisors and mechanics as necessary.
No Education Requirements Additional Information Continued: Effective supervision in the job involves intermittent exposure to moving objects, elevations, exposed electrical conductors, sharp edges, explosives, toxic fumes, high speed flying particles; other hazards such as high pressure fluids and gases, and may include radiation. The work requires the incumbent to work in the field which involves considerable climbing, stooping and walking aboard ships and submarines.
The incumbent must be physically and psychologically qualified to climb to areas which may require the use of fall protection to plan, oversight and or verify work processes/completion. ICTAP Applicants: To be considered well-qualified and exercise selection priority as an ICTAP candidate, displaced Federal employees must satisfy all qualification requirements for the position and receive a rating in the highly qualified category (score 85) or higher.
