This position is with the U. S. Department of Labor, Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Philadelphia Region. This position is located in the Philadelphia Regional Office. The selectee will be expected to report to the assigned office listed above; this is not a remote position. This position is inside the bargaining unit.
Key Responsibilities
The major duties for this position include but are not limited to the following: Develops and maintains the region's Compliance Assistance Plan. Provides direct technical assistance to customers throughout the region in developing and incorporating effective strategies regarding compliance assistance program.
Conducts technical reviews of proposed standards and compliance directives, and provides analysis to regional leadership, managers and supervisors, for regional and national compliance assistance use. Interprets and communicates OSHA national programs and policies to the public, associations, etc. Assists in the implementation of the region's Voluntary Protection Program.
