This position is located in the Department of Defense (DoD), Washington Headquarters Services (WHS), Facilities Services Directorate (FSD), Standards and Compliance Division (SCD), Occupational Safety and Health Branch (OSHB). The incumbent reports to the Branch Chief, OSHB and serves as an adviser to senior managers and employees on highly technical issues pertaining to safety and occupational health.

Incumbents typical work assignments may include the following: Serve as a Safety and Occupational Health Specialist.
Responsible for conducting safety and occupational health functions related to new construction and building renovation projects. Serve as an adviser to senior agency managers and recommends new programs or substantive program changes. Incumbent develops new inspection procedures to ensure that construction processes and equipment operations are consistent with applicable safety criteria.

The posted pay range is $121785 – $158322/yr.
