Description: When a Guardian or Airman steps forward, our response must be flawless, trauma-informed, and immediate-and the lessons we learn from those responses must drive how we prevent future harm. We are seeking a SAPR Program Evaluation Specialist to serve as the critical evaluator of both our post-incident support networks and our proactive safety initiatives across our Space Force Bases.
In this role, you will actively audit and strengthen victim care systems, crisis response protocols, and medical/legal pipelines, while simultaneously evaluating prevention and training programs to stop incidents before they occur. This isn't a passive compliance role; it is an active, leadership-focused opportunity to collaborate directly with installation command, advocate for system-wide improvements, and protect the well-being of the men and women who project power into air and space. Ideal Candidate: -- Expert/mastery level professional knowledge of social and behavioral sciences and/or public health practices, principles, and theories to develop and implement comprehensive FLDCOM programs.
-- Mastery level knowledge of federal laws, executive orders, regulations, policies, directives, principles, and practices carried out at the installation level and in local communities. Works at FLDCOM level, serving as the prevention SME, to provide mastery-level advisory services to installation prevention personnel, installation and FLDCOM leadership.
-- Mastery knowledge to develop assessments procedures, techniques, and conducts extensive evaluation and analyses for measuring DAF's performance relative to the overall implementation of the sexual assault programs.
-- Mastery level knowledge of analytical and evaluative methods including a wide range of qualitative and quantitative techniques, plus a thorough understanding of how regulatory programs are administered, to select and apply appropriate program evaluation and measurement techniques, measure compliance and accomplishments, assess effectiveness, identify deficiencies, analyze trends, and make recommendations for enhancements and improvements of the prevention program.
These analyses will be used to make recommendations and request to the FLDCOM Command Team as well as make adaptations to programs that will better meet the needs of DAF personnel and families. --Skilled delivery of trauma-informed practices to provide tailored and victim-centered support, ensuring tenants of professional victim advocacy services.
Develop SAPR service networks and builds alliances; collaborates across boundaries to build strategic relationships and achieve common goals with extensive knowledge of victim assistance resources and referral options.
--Skilled in training and education techniques to implement and deliver effective sexual assault prevention and response training, as well as, related problematic or harmful behaviors that contribute to the likelihood of sexual harassment and sexual assault to facilitate meaningful discussions and achieve intended training outcomes. -- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing for General Officers and DAF level executive correspondence.
-- Skill in conducting reviews and analyzing and assessing program operations to include identifying deficiencies, measuring compliance, consistency, and effectiveness.
--A bachelor's degree in behavioral or social science, or related disciplines appropriate to the position; or combination of education and experience of appropriate knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field and one-year specialized experience at the next lower grade level or equivalent. --Seven years of experience in victim assistance or advocacy within military or civilian sector with two as a SARC is preferred.
