The Secretary performs secretarial, administrative, general clerical, and typing (office automation) duties and other responsibilities. The incumbent may also perform personnel and payroll liaison assignments and supply-related duties in support of the store. Maintains organized filing systems and keeps commissary records updated and accessible. Coordinates with various departments to collect information needed for reports and routine management updates. Produces documents, reports, and other administrative materials using standard office software and automation tools.
Serves as the commissary's main point of contact for personnel matters, ensuring paperwork and actions are processed correctly through the servicing human resources office. Manages the tracking, procurement, distribution, and disposal of supplies and equipment necessary for commissary operations. This position offers promotion potential to a higher grade. To prepare you for the higher grade, work assignments will be progressively more complex.
