The primary purpose of this position is to monitor and implement established Security Management and Personnel Security Programs. To provide oversight of all Personnel Security Programs for the Commander of the 96th Communications Squadron for all assigned military, civilian, and contractor personnel.
Key Responsibilities
Resolves a wide variety of complex security clearance problems that require choosing alternative responses through coordination with Wing Security Managers, Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) Adjudication and Vetting Services (AVS), Office of Personnel Management (OPM), higher headquarters, etc. Reviews, establishes, and maintains Incident Reporting. Assists in the overall management of the Information Security Program.
Assists in the administration of the Security Education and Training Program for information, personnel, and industrial security programs. Performs administrative office support functions and maintains cooperative working relationships with supervisors and commanders.
This position is with Air Force Materiel Command, Department of the Air Force.
