The primary purpose of this position is: To serve as a security clerk assigned to Pass & Registration of the Plans & Programs Section and to process various security related documentation including requests for issuance of Contractor Access Badges and Restricted Area Badges, as well as other documents to include Defense Biometric Identification System cards and passes
Performs and enforces Pass and Registration duties; processes and issues Defense Biometrics Identification cards (DBIDS), contractor access badges, restricted area badges (RAB's) and temporary passes to eligible personnel Performs and enforces the full range of identity proofing, vetting and fitness determinations for installation access Maintains controlled forms.
Maintains control logs for identification cards and contractor access badges and foreign visits for maintenance and destruction of accountable forms in accordance with applicable AF instructions. Carries out routine, miscellaneous clerical tasks. Performs clerical support duties to ensure efficient office operations Provides general customer service. Focuses on responsive and accurate customer service within the Pass & Registration/Visitors Center environment
