This position is part of the Haskell Indian Nations University, Bureau of Indian Education (BIE), Department of the Interior (DOI). As a Security Guard you will be responsible for performing security guard duties on the HINU campus.
As a Security Guard, GS-0085-5, your typical work assignments will include the following under supervision: Perform foot and vehicle patrol, inspections, monitoring security of an area, entrance, or building. Coordinate information and responses to ensure consistency and conformance with program policies. Explain or provide guidance on laws, regulations, policies, standards, or procedures to management, personnel, or clients. Respond to emergencies and provides first aid if necessary. Complete forms, documents, or routine reports. NOTE: Position is also being advertised competitive announcement number BIE-13035979-26-JCJ DE.
