Job Summary

This position resides within the Kayenta Service Unit, Quality Management, Safety and Security Department, Kayenta, AZ. Performs administrative and communications support related to dispatching, monitoring security cameras and access control systems, operating computer, radio, and telephone systems, and physically inventorying and issuing security equipment. A REAL ID will be required beginning May 7, 2025, in accordance with 6 C.F.R. 37.5 (2021).

Major Duties

Monitors and operates security communications, CCTV surveillance, intrusion/panic alarm, radio, and telephone systems. Receives, evaluates, and prioritizes emergency and non-emergency calls and dispatches security personnel accordingly. Coordinates security responses with security staff, leadership, facilities personnel, and law enforcement. Documents security incidents, communications, alarm activity, and responses in daily logs and prepares Daily Shift Reports. Identifies equipment or system discrepancies, submits work orders, and performs/monitors monthly alarm checks. Maintains security records, parking/traffic violation files, vehicle identification documents, and program statistics/reports.

Education
