Purpose of this position is to: Provide a security specialist for the duties and responsibilities in Section II. The overall function of the office is administering and managing all aspects of a designated Special Access Required (SAR) program which not only supports Air Force and Joint Projects but other DoD programs, i.e.

Navy, Army, and the Marine corps.

Key Responsibilities

Performs as the AF/TE Security Specialist. Manages, Assesses, develops the travel policy for the AF FMP and briefs 40 - 50 foreign travel packages annually to the USAF Executive Agent (EA) of the Foreign Materiel Program (FMP) in support of external organizations/agencies supporting the FMP. Reviews requests for access to Air Force and Joint Special Access Programs and makes initial SAP Eligibility Determinations.

Interprets, formulates, and implements regulatory guidance for Classification Management and Safeguarding requirements.
