This position is located in the Office of the Administrator, Office of the Executive Secretariat. The ideal candidate for this position will communicate effectively in writing to compose responses to incoming inquiries, suggest appropriate responses, provide status reports, and serve as final approval authority for all outgoing correspondence. They will also collect and analyze data and compile weekly and monthly reports distributed to program offices.
What will I do in this position if hired? In this position, you will review and prioritize all incoming correspondence for offices within FEMA. Typical assignments include: Independently composes responses to general inquires Answers inquiries from offices dealing with the status of priority correspondence Writes and prepares referral letters for misdirected correspondence to other government agencies, senators, congress members and the public. Promotion Potential: Future promotions will be dependent on your ability to perform the duties at a higher level, the continuing need for an employee assigned to the higher level, and administrative approval.
