Job Summary

This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program. You must meet specific eligibility requirements per VHA policy and submit your EDRP application within four months of appointment. Program Approval, award amount (up to $200,000) & eligibility period (one to five years) are determined by the VHA Education Loan Repayment Services program office after review of the EDRP application. Former EDRP participants ineligible

Major Duties

VA Careers - Social Work: https://youtube.com/embed/enRhz_ua_UU DUTIES: The Local Recovery Coordinator Social Worker administers information and analytical systems to evaluate and enhance the quality of service provided to patients. Develops and implements information systems to track service activities related to the implementation of the Recovery model and evidence based practices and provides clinical supervision to accomplish implementation of recovery oriented, direct service. The Local Recovery Coordinator Social Worker will function to do the following: Implement policies & procedures from National Recovery Coordinator (NRC). Provide oversight and guidance on recovery-based programs and interventions in all Mental Health programs within CAVHCS. Train providers within CAVHCS on recovery and evaluate implementation. Educate Veterans & their families on recovery and evaluate implementation. Facilitate and support recovery services (advisory boards, consumer councils, peer support services etc).
