This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program. You must meet specific individual eligibility requirements in accordance with VHA policy and submit your EDRP application within four months of appointment.

VA Careers - Psychologist: https://youtube.com/embed/77qHlLw9Xck Total Rewards of a Allied Health Professional This Staff Psychologist position is a full-time position with primary duties in the Behavioral Medicine Division, which is part of Mental and Behavioral Health Services (MBHS) within the Durham VA Health Care System (VAHCS).
The incumbent has responsibilities focused on being a psychologist focused on both evidence-based psychotherapy and assessments in behavioral management of chronic pain, using individual, and group therapy formats. The psychologist may also assist in the management of health psychology and chronic pain referrals, if needed.
The psychologist provides behavioral health assessments and interventions for the growing population of Veterans being seen in the Garner, NC catchment area of the Durham VAHCS. Duties include but are not limited to:: Provides a full range of specialized services at all levels of complexity for patients with chronic pain, with service delivery to include consultation, assessment, and psychotherapy.
Provides evidenced-based psychotherapies in individual and group formats for a wide-range of Veterans with chronic pain. Serves as a member of the Behavioral Medicine Health Psychology team, by providing psychological consultation to other psychologists, in addition to other professional staff within Durham VAHCS.
As relevant and as requested, may provide clinical supervision to Psychology practicum students, interns, or fellows (or unlicensed Psychology staff, as requested)..
