This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program. You must meet specific individual eligibility requirements in accordance with VHA policy and submit your EDRP application within four months of appointment.

Psychologists on this team work with Veterans presenting with a variety of mental and behavioral health concerns in a Primary Care setting.
Psychologists on this team provide brief assessments and interventions and are part of a rich, interdisciplinary team model of care. Psychologists at VAAAHS enjoy a stimulating clinical and academic environment with a strong tradition of evidence-based practice, education, and research.
Psychologists conduct psychological assessments, diagnose mental disorders, treat mental disorders through a variety of modalities (e.g., individual, family and group psychotherapies and other interventions such as behavioral health and community interventions), provide adjunctive interventions for the treatment of medical disorders, and provide behavioral health consultation to providers on medical, mental health, and a variety of other patient care issues.
Psychologists administer and interpret psychological tests, including but not limited to tests of ability, aptitude, achievement, interests, personality, cognitive functioning, and mental health.
