Job Summary

This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program. You must meet specific individual eligibility requirements in accordance with VHA policy and submit your EDRP application within four months of appointment.

Program Approval, award amount (up to $200,000) and eligibility period (one to five years) are determined by the VHA Education Loan Repayment Services program office after complete review of the EDRP application.

VA Careers - Psychologist: https://youtube.com/embed/77qHlLw9Xck Total Rewards of a Allied Health Professional The duties of this position include, but are not limited to: Provides psychological assessment, conducting evaluations of psychological functioning based upon available data, clinical interview, psychological tests and instruments, and other structured techniques; Provides a full range of psychological interventions, to include group and individual psychotherapy, consistent with training and expertise, with an emphasis on evidenced[1]based interventions found to be effective with specific presenting problems; Complies with all medical record documentation procedures, including timeliness standards for documentation and proper check out procedures (e.g.

entering diagnostic and procedure codes); Supports other treatment programs within the Behavioral Health Service with a full range of psychological services; Consults with medical center staff on a wide variety of patient care issues Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm Recruitment/Relocation Incentives (Sign-on Bonus): Not Authorized Permanent Change of Station (Relocation Assistance): Not Authorized EDRP Authorized: Former EDRP participants ineligible to apply for incentive.

Child Care Subsidy: After 60 days of employment, full time employees with a total family income below $144,000 may be eligible for a childcare subsidy up to 25% of total eligible childcare costs for eligible children up to the monthly maximum of $416.66.
