Job Summary
The Senate Sergeant at Arms is seeking a State Office Program Manager (Construction). Key Responsibilities
Analyzes and negotiates project scope and construction costs for tenant improvements and security installations in Senate state offices. Prepares, updates, and reviews construction-related drawings, including dimensional, security, telecom, IT, and LAN/WAN schematics, ensuring accuracy and standardization. Evaluates contractor quotes and proposals, ensuring scope alignment, cost appropriateness, and compliance with SAA standards.
Coordinates closely with contractors, landlords, GSA project managers, and internal SAA departments to ensure quality, adherence to requirements, and proper documentation throughout the project lifecycle. Maintains complete and consistent records of office layouts, IT placements, and security equipment locations while supporting standardized project close-out processes.
Develops and implements quality assurance measures to proactively identify deficiencies, provide corrective guidance, and ensure successful project completion. Other duties, as assigned.
Requirements & Education
High School Diploma/ GED.
