You will serve as a Statistical Assistant for the National Minerals Information Center. First time hires to the Federal government normally start at the step 1 rate.
Some of the major duties you will perform include but are not limited to the following: Performs data collection and survey processing activities. Reviews aggregated information to evaluate the quality and completeness of data in a timely manner. Performs data conversions to review calculations and averages to ensure publishable data. Utilizes various databases and software for packages for data entry and retrieval to generate tables. Communicates with internal and external customers. Duties will be developmental in nature when filled below the full performance level.
