Job Summary

This position is located in the Department of Health and Human Services, Administration for Children and Families, headquartered in Washington, District of Columbia. Key Responsibilities

As a Statistician, you will: Serve as an authoritative source of technical input for analyses, reports, and data products that inform program evaluation and public policy. Independently plan and execute complex analytical projects, including the development and application of predictive analytics and predictive risk modeling approaches.

Apply advanced statistical theory and methods, including regression, multivariate analysis, and other quantitative techniques to analyze complex data. Develop data visualizations, dashboards, and other communication tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to effectively present complex analytical findings to technical staff, program leadership, and policymakers.

Requirements & Education

Foreign Education: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show that the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
