As an intern in the Contracts career field, you will be part of a high-demand team that is essential to the modernization of the entire enterprise. This field is responsible for procuring the vital supplies and services that enable the agency to meet its global mission needs.
This internship will expose you to the full lifecycle of government acquisitions. While your specific placement will be based on mission needs, you will have the opportunity to learn the functions of a Contract Specialist, which is the core role in this field.
In this capacity, you will learn to: - Plan and manage the acquisition of products and services - Develop acquisition strategies and evaluate proposals from vendors - Negotiate and award contracts to satisfy customer requirements - Administer contracts to ensure compliance with all terms and conditions Transcript Upload Instructions: All applicants must upload proof of current enrollment as part of their application.
