Key Responsibilities
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY As a Supervisory Account Manager you will: Adjust staffing resources and design or redesign work processes and procedures to accommodate workload and customer demand. Define team goals and align them with the Payroll Division and the goals of the OPDIVs serviced.
Apply knowledge of payroll functions, practices, laws, regulations, and procedures to provide advisory and consultative services concerning time and attendance and payroll processing functions and work practices. Build and maintain relationships with senior HHS management, DFAS, HR, OPM, and other internal and external organizations to understand customer and provider needs and expectations and proactively address payroll problems.
Use business intelligence and data-analysis results to interpret and address payroll error trends. Study and analyze trends in payroll problems and research customer needs and service expectations.
