Veteran's preference does not apply to DHA recruitment Click on "Learn more about this agency" button below to view Eligibilities being considered and other IMPORTANT information The primary purpose of this position is to serve as the Director of the AFTC Strategic Services Directorate, directing or supporting the activities of DoD funded acquisition efforts.
Key Responsibilities
Leads, manages, directs, or is responsible for activities either directly, or in support of, DoD funded acquisition efforts. Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities at least 25% of the time.
Delivers presentations on program status, accomplishments, problems/analysis/solutions, requirements for support, and promotion of program objectives to senior military officers and civilians in other program offices of the command, and with using and supporting commands. Represents the program office at higher levels within the organization and contractor organizations.
Works in conjunction with the contracting officer to approve terms and conditions set forth in contract negotiations, contracting plans, budgets, and changes to the scope of work to be done by the contractor.
