Plans, organizes, and oversees the activities of the Skills Development Center (including Arts and Crafts, Woodshop, Frame Shop, Graphics department, and Resale department.) Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities. Directs, coordinates, and oversees work through subordinate supervisors. Represents 18 FSS/FSWT with a variety of installation and functional area organizations. Ensures facilities and equipment are maintained.
Applies knowledge of construction and renovation techniques to complete, submit, defend, and maintain five-year capital requirement and fifteen-year facility plan and submits inputs to the Flight Chief for inclusion in the master plans. Develops comprehensive annual budget and fiscal requirements to meet program objectives and maintains internal controls.
