The primary purpose of this position is to serve as an Audio-Visual Information Manager and first-level supervisor for the Marketing Directorate (AETC/MK) supporting DAF, with responsibility for the production of a wide variety of products and images for complex physical or digital web-based material, exhibits, and briefings to maintain mutual communication with internal and external publics.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate the design and development of complex, high-level visual information products in collaboration with editors, subject matter experts, public affairs and customers. Create visual materials independently or in conjunction with illustrators, photographers, videographers, or other craftsmen. Explain performance expectations to employees and provide regular feedback on strengths and weaknesses.

Serve as the Visual Information (VI) Manager ensuring AETC Marketing is in compliance with Public Affairs (PA) career field, Air Education and Training Command (AETC), Department of the Air Force (DAF) and Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD) policies and procedures. Respond to requests for information, materials, and support; arrange, advise on, and/or provide visual information services for documentation and/or information purposes and/or communication campaigns.
