The primary purpose of this position is to provide executive-level leadership and supervision as the Base Civil Engineer (BCE), overseeing the Civil Engineer Branch and Fire Emergency Services at Air Force Plant 42.
Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities at least 25% of the time. Plans, organizes, and oversees the activities of the Civil Engineer Branch. Represents the Civil Engineer Branch with a variety of installation and functional area organizations to influence, motivate, and persuade them to accept options or take actions related to assigned programs.
Serves as Branch Chief of the Civil Engineer Branch providing executive level management and professional engineering direction as well as supervisory leadership of the Fire Emergency Services provided from two on-site Fire Stations. Responsible for implementing effective planning and management resources to meet both wartime and peacetime requirements. Provides direction and continuing management actions to ensure all construction programs.
Serves as the Base Fire Marshall (BFM).
