This position is located with Bonneville Power Administration, in Facilities Construction and Quality Assurance (TFHQ), Construction and Maintenance Services (TFH), Transmission Field Services (TF), Transmission Services (T).
A successful candidate in the Supervisory Civil (Construction Management) / Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics Engineer position will serve as the supervisor of the Construction Management and Inspection organization and as a member of the TFH management team.
Key Responsibilities
As a Supervisory Civil (Construction Management) / Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics Engineer, you will: Establish annual and longer-range strategic work plans and schedules for in-service and contracted work, independently of or jointly with higher management. Contribute to the determination of resource needs and allocation of resources. Make recommendations and decisions related to changes in the structure of the organization managed.
Plan work to be accomplished by subordinates, sets and adjust priorities, and prepares schedules for completion of work. Assign work to subordinates based on priorities, selective consideration of the difficulty and requirements of assignments, and the capabilities of employees. Make decisions on work problems presented by subordinates and by contractors.
