Job Summary
About the position: As Chief of Section, responsible for supervision of a portion of the Districts Civil Works construction. Maintenance program involves overseeing all District waterways. Projects include maintenance dredging of approximately 275 miles of project channels; maintenance of water front structures (jetties, bulkheads, dikes, etc.); shore projection, bank stabilization and protection; construction of disposal areas, and removal of wrecks and obstructions.
Key Responsibilities
Furnishes technical advice to top management on construction activities and problems.
