Job Summary

About the Position: The incumbent will serve as a Resident Engineer performing on-site administration of construction contracts under delegated authority of an ACO warrant for the New Orleans Area Office (NOAO).

The person will also serve as the Assistant Area Engineer sharing in NOAO administrative responsibilities such as developing office policy, handling government purchase card billing official responsibilities, travel order/voucher approval, and Floodfight sector coordination.

Key Responsibilities

Leads a team of engineering and technical personnel engaged in quality assurance activities, plans the team's work assignments, and reviews their work for consistency and compliance.

FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
