Job Summary
The primary purpose of this position is: To exercise second level supervisory and managerial authorities over the Community Services Flight activities in the Force Support Squadron. Provides direction for the operations within the flight to include, but not limited to outdoor recreation, golf course, arts and crafts center, bowling center, car wash, and embedded snack bar operations.
Key Responsibilities
Plans, organizes, and oversees the activities of the Community Services Flight. Develops goals and objectives that integrate organization and Community Services Flight objectives. Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities. Directs, coordinates, and oversees work through subordinate supervisors. Represents the Force Support Squadron with a variety of installation and functional area organizations.
Establishes, develops, and maintains effective working relationships with other base organizations, senior leadership, squadron commanders, and representatives from other military services, Department of Defense (DoD) agencies, and related civilian organizations regarding services provided.
Establishes, defines, and implements requirements for community service programs to ensure operations are in line with regulatory and fiscal requirements, support goals, and mission requirements.
