Job Summary

The primary purpose of this position is to serve as the first or second level supervisor and manager for the Environmental Element. Click on "Learn more about this agency" button below to view Eligibilities being considered and other IMPORTANT information.

Key Responsibilities

Plans, organizes, and oversees the activities of the Environmental element. Develops goals and objectives integrating organization and Environmental Element objectives. Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities. Represents the Environmental Element with a variety of installation and functional area organizations. Communicates and coordinates base Environmental matters with higher headquarters, regulatory agencies, and community officials as needed.

Directs the development and execution of the Environmental budget. Prepares or directs the preparation of planning, programming, and budgeting system (PPBS) documentation in support of the environmental element.
