Job Summary

You will serve as a Supervisory Facility Operations Specialist with National Park Service. This position is in the Region 1 Historic Architect Conservation Assistance Center in the PFCA Directorate. This is a temporary promotion and/or detail not to exceed 1 year and can be extended up to 5 years. This temporary promotion MAY be made permanent without further competition. .

Major Duties

As a Supervisory Facility Operations Specialist, you will perform the following duties: Manages the regional Maintenance Assistance Team (MAT) program. Develops and implements program framework and guidelines. Oversees the identification, scoping, prioritization, estimating of preservation projects. Manages financial oversight of MAT operations (e.g., travel, purchases, and expenses). Identifies organizational, project and execution issues, assisting with solutions. Develops long range cyclic maintenance, preventative maintenance, and repair/rehabilitation plans. Develops and reviews project proposals, plans, estimates, and schedules for all maintenance and operations. Prepares reports to include annual reports, project summaries, program briefings, accomplishment reports, and annual reports.

This position does not allow substituting education for experience.
