This position is located in Region Six, Mission Support Division. The ideal candidate for this position will have experience leading in federal budget/financial management and procurement, with expertise in budget execution, FAR, and disaster and operations support funding categories. The incumbent will also have experience with financial operations, leading teams, and collaborating with senior leadership.
What will I do in this position if hired? In this position, you will be leading a high performing team of budget analysts and financial management specialists. Typical assignments include: Supporting and providing expert level budget/financial guidance to regional leadership. Coordinating multi-year budget formulation and annual operating plan development for multiple fund codes. Monitoring budget execution of allocated funds.
Managing regional travel functions and coordinating and monitoring compliance with government issued travel card program implementation. What else do I need to know? Travel requirements in support of emergency operations may be extensive in nature (weeks to months), with little advance notice, and may require employees to relocate to emergency sites with physically austere and operationally challenging conditions.
