The Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) is the Nation's risk advisor, working with partners to defend against today's threats and collaborating with industry to build a more secure and resilient infrastructure for the future.
Typical work assignments include, but are not limited to: Mastery knowledge and skill of financial management concepts, principles, practices, laws, regulations and accounting policies, systems, and procedures to provide staff direction and guidance in the design, implementation, and enhancement of an automated financial management system.
Ability to apply a high level of sound, independent judgment in the solution of financial problems, issues and in administration of the Agency objective to obtain an unqualified opinion. Extensive knowledge involving policies and procedures related to travel/conference planning, purchase/travel/fleet cards.
Develops and implements agency-wide financial policies and procedures, offering broad administrative and policy direction to ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial operations, including payments, obligations, and card management programs. Serves as a principal advisor to senior leadership on financial management strategies, resource allocation, and long-range planning, providing data-driven recommendations to support mission-critical decision-making.
Military Spouses & U.S. Foreign Service Spouse Only: This position is remote work and telework eligible consistent with the Agency's telework and remote work program policy. Applicants who live within the local commuting area (i.e., a 50-mile or less radius from Glebe Road, Arlington VA (not driving distance)) are eligible for 100% telework in accordance with agency policy.
